At Songbird Studio, my vision is to support not only individual musical expressions, but also to create shared experiences of music making. Within Songbird Studio’s culture of kindness and care, students are able to learn and grow together, sharing their music in various ways:
Very Small Group Makeup Lessons:
Learn new musical skills, play musical games and gain confidence singing or playing in front of a few students. Offered monthly at Songbird Studio.
Small Play Steinway! Events:
Learn about a historic instrument – my fully restored 1907 Steinway Grand Piano – and share your music with a group of students. Other topics may include: musical genres, music history, how pianos work, anatomy of the voice. Offered annually at Songbird Studio.
Larger Melon Ball Parties:
Enjoy hearing other students’ music and sharing your own on a small stage at the Melon Ball. Family and friends are invited to celebrate with us and offer support. Offered annually at Watermelon Music.
Agnes’ Performances:
Join Agnes in her local offerings at churches and senior living homes in Davis. Agnes also offers occasional solo recitals at the Melon Ball. Contact Agnes for more information about the current schedule.
